Services
Beyond Words provides comprehensive speech and language services for children ages 18 months and up. In addition, we are proud to offer reading support using the Orton-Gillingham Approach, a structured, evidence-based method designed to help struggling readers build strong literacy skills.
Service Delivery Options
We provide individualized speech therapy tailored to your child’s unique needs in a one-on-one setting. Session lengths range from 30 to 60 minutes, depending on your child’s age, goals, and your scheduling preferences. The duration and frequency of sessions are determined collaboratively following an initial consultation to ensure the best fit for your child’s development.
Individual Sessions
We also offer group speech therapy services when appropriate. Group sessions can be especially effective for targeting social pragmatic skills or when two children—such as siblings or friends—are working toward similar goals. These sessions are available at a reduced rate and can be arranged following an evaluation to ensure a good fit for all participants.
Group Sessions
For your convenience, services can be provided in the comfort of your home. In-person sessions may also take place at an agreed-upon location, such as a local library or even a park, weather permitting.
In-Home Services
Speech therapy sessions are also available via Zoom, offering added flexibility and convenience—especially during the summer months or for families with busy schedules. Teletherapy has been shown to be highly effective, particularly for school-age children, and can be a great option to maintain consistency and progress from the comfort of your home.
